In July 2026, the City of Daytona Beach will mark a historic milestone, 150 years since its founding. This year long celebration will show-case our city's cultural heritage, vibrant community and vision for the next 150 years.
As we prepare to celebrate 150 years of Daytona Beach, I am filled with pride and gratitude for the people who make our city extraordinary. Our sesquicentennial is more than a milestone, it is a moment to honor the resilience, innovation and spirit that have carried us from our founding in 1876 to the vibrant community we are today. This celebration is an opportunity for all of us, residents, businesses and visitors, to come together, share our stories and look ahead to the future we will build.
