Throughout 2026, our community will come together to honor the city's sesquicentennial with a wide variety of events. From cultural celebrations and historical reflections to concerts, parades and family activities, there will be something for everyone to enjoy as we mark this milestone year.
A 10-week fitness program for adults 18 and older, meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30–6:30 p.m. This special sesquicentennial edition will feature decade-themed sessions that not only get participants moving through strength training, yoga, dancing, kickboxing and other indoor and outdoor activities, but also offer opportunities to learn about Daytona Beach’s history. Each workout will highlight a different era, giving participants a chance to participate in our year long celebration.
This Easter-themed beach run was established in 1967 by the City of Daytona Beach. Originally held on Easter Sunday to entertain visiting college students, it has grown into a beloved tradition and is now the oldest consecutive footrace in the State of Florida.
Celebrate Daytona Beach’s 150th anniversary with a special evening concert at the iconic Daytona Beach Bandshell. The event will feature live performances, food vendors, and a festive beachside atmosphere.
A day of family-friendly fun highlighting the rich culture and history of Daytona Beach. Activities will include live entertainment, local food, art exhibits, historical displays, and community engagement opportunities.
An annual holiday tradition featuring festive floats, marching bands, and community groups parading through the heart of Daytona Beach. Bring the whole family to enjoy the sights, sounds, and spirit of the season. (Date and Time TBD)
